The Frankton Kindergarten, built in 1996, is located 10kms from the heart of
Queenstown and close to the main routes to both Otago and Southland. The
Kindergarten is located in an idyllic, sunny position overlooking the Kawarau
River, with the Remarkables as a backdrop. The Kindergarten is enriched by the
multi-cultural nature of the community it serves. Many of the families live in
close proximity to each other, which contributes to the happy, caring, and
supportive community atmosphere.
Families with children on the waiting list are invited to attend the playgroup
on Wednesday afternoons.
The children are taught by three enthusiastic, empathetic early childhood
educators who have a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
The kindergarten provides a warm, stimulating fun-filled environment that
reflects the holistic way children grow, fosters each child's individuality,
strengths, interests and self-esteem.
We value the family and community as an integral part of the kindergarten in
which the children learn through warm, responsive and reciprocal relationships
with people, places and things.
