Wakatipu Kindergarten situated in the centre of Queenstown adjacent to the Childcare Centre and near the base of the Skyline Gondola. The building was purpose built in 1989, is large and modern to accommodate the 45 children in each session. The outdoor play area is large and inviting. The kindergarten is exceptionally well resourced and supported by its community. It caters for families of varying nationalities and English is a second language for some. Many families are involved in the tourism, film or hospitality industries.
