The Gisborne Kindergarten Association Inc. is made up of six Kindergartens within the city boundary. We employ 15 teachers as well as a Teaching Services Manager.
The management team of the Association is made up of the Association Manager, Finance Officer and the Teaching Services Manager who are responsible for the day to day running of the Association as outlined in policies etc and procedures as set down by the GKA Governing Board. The Governing Board is made up a President, elected representatives from the six Kindergartens, two independent members from the wider community and the Management Team who are ex-officio members of the Board.

- Provide quality, affordable and accessible early childhood educational opportunities that are responsive to the changing community needs and expectations.
- Develop the skills of individuals to ensure a smooth transition between kindergarten and ongoing educational opportunities.
