Hutt City Kindergartens provides a quality early childhood educational experience for children. We do this in partnership with families, whanau and communities.
Hutt City Kindergartens is the umbrella organisation for 19 kindergartens in the Hutt City area. This extends into Wainuiomata and up into Stokes Valley. We are governed by an elected Board which provides the overall leadership and direction for our early childhood service. Our main office in Naenae manages the business operations of the kindergarten, provides professional teching leadership, advice and support, and employs teachers and other administrative staff to operate our kindergartens. We also provide support and assistance to the Management Committees that assist in running each kindergarten.
Each kindergarten provides a high quality educational programme using the Te Whaariki curriculum framework, to children from approximately 3 to 5 years of age. Details of each kindergarten, session times and contact details are listed separately below.Stokes Valley:
