Naenae Kindergarten is a happy, fun place, rich with resources and equipment both indoor and outdoor providing children with a supportive, stimulating and challenging environment.

The kindergarten acknowledges and embraces the cultural diversity of their families working alongside parents/caregivers to provide a programme that empowers each child to learn and grow. Naenae kindergarten is recognised by Group Special Education for its commitment and support to children with special learning needs. The teachers foster close links with the local community giving children opportunities to participate in weekly excursions to Naenae Library and Jumping Jacks gymnastics, and fortnightly visits to one of the local primary schools. The teachers maintain close links with the two local primary schools with the empasis being on children's transition between kindergarten and school.

The kindergarten has a teacher assistant who works with the teachers and children every session.
