Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8.30am-11.30am
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 12.30pm-3.00pm
Wednesday: 8.30am-12.30pm
Friday: 08.30am-12.30pm

Forest View Kindergarten is located on the city boundary and attracts children from urban, rural and seaside communities.

We provide a quality, safe and caring learning environment where children's development is enhanced through relationships and interactions which are responsive, reciprocal, positive and encouraging.

The teaching team provides a stimulating child centred and resource based environment where each child is encouraged to develop an excitement for learning, and valuable problem solving abilities. We emphasise what to do rather than what not to do, and effort and perseverance are valued more highly than the quality of the end product.

Parents/whanau are encouraged and welcome to participate in all areas in the kindergarten. We support and encourage children's interests and skills using the principals and goals of Te Whaariki, the early childhood curriculum, the statement of Desirable Objectives and Practices, and our Kindergarten Philosophy.
