Casa Nova Kindergarten provides an ideal environment in which young children can learn and grow in mind, body and spirit. This kindergarten's approach to planning is through the emergent curriculum, which is driven from the interest of the children that attend and also they are planned for individually. It is a very harmonious work place and families have a sense of belonging here.

There are two teachers on site in a full time capacity and another teacher who works eight hours a week to lower child/teacher ratio's and to extend children's learning.

This Kindergarten rolls are 30/30.

Close proximity to the primary school next door and we are very proud or our strong transition to school 'buddy' programme.

Casa Nova Kindergarten boarders a diverse community at the northern end of Oamaru.

The Kindergarten building is situated on a north facing site and is enhanced by native planting around three sides of a large sandpit.

Families are from a cross section of every socio-economic group from professionals to beneficiaries, from two parent families, blended families, extended families and solo parents and caregivers.

The children attending Casa Nova Kindergarten are predominantly European with a smaller number from other ethnic groups such as Maori, Chinese, Tongan and Samoan.
