Hours of Operation:
Wednesday, Friday: 8.30am-12.30pm
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8.30am-11.30am and 12.45pm-3.15pm

Central Kindergarten is situated at the north end of Stratford. It has a roll of 45 morning and 45 afternoon children and is staffed by three qualified, registered teachers.

Our vision for children:

  • A friendly place for children and whanau to meet, learn and grow together alongside the teachers, who are enthusiastic about their role.

  • Te Whaariki (the early childhood curriculum) provides the basis for challenging programmes to enable children to grow as competent, confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society.

  • At Central Kindergarten we have fun!
