Hours of Operation:
Wednesday, Friday: 8.30am-12.30pm
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8.30am-11.30am and 12.45pm-3.15pm

Hawera Kindergarten is situated at the beginning of Surf Highway 45. It has a roll of 45 morning and 45 afternoon children and is staffed by three qualified, registered teachers.

  • A well-resourced centre with an extensive range of equipment and activities.
  • An environment designed to provide challenge, opportunity and fun for children to grow and develop.
  • A Wednesday afternoon playgroup held from 1.00-2.30pm for children on our waiting list, their parents and whanau. They will experience the atmosphere and activities of the kindergarten.
  • A group time for children in the morning and afternoon sessions provides a focus time for children and an opportunity for teachers to continue assessing children's individual strengths, areas of growth and development.
  • No reira, naumai, haere-mai - welcome.
