The Tauranga Regional Free Kindergarten Association Inc. (TRFKA) is a member of New Zealand Kindergarten Inc. TRFKA is based in the city of Tauranga in the Western Bay of Plenty and is comprised of sixteen kindergartens spread geographically from Paengaroa in the south to Waihi in the north. However, the bulk of the member kindergartens are located within Tauranga/Mount Maunganui and the immediate environs.
Tauranga/Western Bay of Plenty is a fast growing city/region and accordingly the kindergartens have full rolls and sizeable waiting lists. There is a foreseeable demand for additional kindergartens in coming years.
TRFKA is committed to providing the best possible early childhood experience for the region's children, by seeking to provide a positive working environment for its staff and continuous professional development to ensure that the teaching staff are equipped to offer a quality learning experience
