Whakamarama & Districts Kindergarten opened at the beginning of term 4, 2002. It is adjacent to Whakamarama School and serves expanding rural lifestyle areas where there is currently limited provision of EC educational facilities. The kindergarten enjoys strong parental and community support, offering opportunities for children mainly in the areas from Te Puna/Minden through to Pahoia/Aongatete.
